Whitman and Lorelei
My new fiction book "Whitman and Lorelei" is a Slow Burn Romance novel surrounding two 23-year-old aspiring authors, Whitman Augustine and Lorelei Mathis. They meet at a renowned bookstore in the offbeat city of Ingenue, and haphazardly embark on an iconic, yet troubled romance that is fated to teach them many lessons on the myths of love.
From the get-go, Whitman and Lorelei are two very different people, despite their shared love for literature.

Throughout writing Whitman and Lorelei, I devised a notebook that helped me map out the aesthetics, the outline, and the character development. Here is a glimpse into that journal.
Along with this, I devised a playlist that assists in building the atmosphere for the book. It is meant to be listened to while reading the text, and set on shuffle. The songs featured are not set in chronological order to the storyline. It features 19 hours worth of audio to read and reminisce too. The playlist is available on Spotify here
